Bauke Mollema was born on 26 November 1986, and he is a prevalent and professional Dutch cyclist. He is riding for UCI World Team Trek- Segafredo. He has been a top 10 runner-up in the Grand Tour trilogy. He has three stage wins in 2017 and 2021 Tour De France, and 2011 Vuelta an Espana. His best place in Tour De France was in 2013 when he came sixth in the race. He was also the first winner in Clasica de San Sebastian in 2016 and was a podium winner on three other segments in the same race. Finally, he achieved the biggest win of his career in the race of Giro Di Lombardia. He started his race career after he won the stage race for rising talents at the Tour de L’Avenirand also secured a spot at the Circuito Montanes. He later decided to join the Rabobank Pro Team in 2009 by signing his first professional contract. His first most relevant appearance was in the sixth position in the finals of Vuelta a Castilla y Leon in 2008. After that, he made his professional tour debut in the race of Tour de Romandie, but he could not finish because he fell and fractured a collarbone. However, he did return to full shape in Deutschland Tour when he started as Rabobank’s leader. He finished in seventh place in the overall general classification of the race.
